Any Keep playing on to nearly 40 won't be half the keeper he was when he was 30.
Was a great keeper but went 1 season too many.

What a bell.. His comments on the Palace website...
'I wanted to get back in the Prem' ... You could even get a mid table Reading starting eleven mate
'When i heard of Palace's interest toward the end of last season'
We signed you in August you plum!! Not even been with us a year... Great loyalty and work ethic.......... NOT

You cant blame him he probably realises he has a much better chance of challenging Speroni than he does of ousting Green from qpr, and its the prem league
For me both Green and Speroni are better keepers but the are reaction keepers( great shot stoppers) stay on there line more than McCarthy who fans probably see as a greater presence as a keeperLast edited by winalotto; 23-07-2015, 05:23 PM.

If he was that good why was he sitting on Reading's bench?
And we can blame him... If you dont want to knowingly have the risk of playing in the Champ, Dont sign for a newly promoted team on a 3 year deal
