Can't wait for this signing.... It will be massive. Must be a lift to everyone at the club and also to potential signings who see us bringing in a player of this class.
Hope Norths is right and it gets announced today, if Ric says it then i'm more likely to believe it than sky

8 month ban wasn't it? Obviously the authorities weren't impressed.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostOK apart from one mistake? I see him as an ultimate professional and I think most people would. He made that mistake about 10 years ago FFS
Just out of interest, can you name any other top professionals that have done the same? I can't think of anyone at the mo.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I do. His (in)action in that drug test stood out so clearly that I never forgot it, even if he did. And as his memory failed him so cruelly, what else could be failing in his body now? Not worth the risk.Originally posted by Jimmy Rabbit View PostWho cares?Banning people is no longer my hobby,

He is a dishonest man off the field and past his best on the field, so forgive me for not cheering his imminent signing.Originally posted by Del View PostRidiculous.Banning people is no longer my hobby,

totally agree.....all those criticising this misdemeanour are obviously squeaky clean and without reproach themselves. Not!Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostOK apart from one mistake? Oh come on now.. this is a great signing for our club, he will fit in with the our mainly English squad perfectly.. The younger lads will probably even be a bit star struck.Originally posted by QPR Richard View PostWhat about his numerous bans from driving including drink-driving?

Everyone has made mistakes - Ryan Giggs was the ultimate professional until a couple of years ago with what happened in his personal life. But I think in most peoples eyes he is still a great pro youngsters will look up to.. Same with Rio

I doubt many on here have dodged drug tests, and I don't know how many have been convicted of drink-driving. I haven't.Originally posted by twranger View Posttotally agree.....all those criticising this misdemeanour are obviously squeaky clean and without reproach themselves. So all those medals and trophies his won count for nothing and he should be seen as a bad professional cos his made a couple of mistakes.Originally posted by QPR Richard View PostI doubt many on here have dodged drug tests, and I don't know how many have been convicted of drink-driving. I haven't.
Why do you think Harry is saying Caulker would love to play with Rio? Because he knows that young english centre backs will look up to a player like Rio
