He shouldnt even be considered for cup games. We need him for the games that really matter, the ones in our 'mini-league' of the bottom 6-8 clubs. Against the likes of Man City, Liverpool, The scum down the road etc, he should be rested IMO. Great signing and could be the catalyst that makes this a better attempt at teh premiership than the last one!!

2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

Ultimate professional eh? I take it you've forgotten about his ban for failing to take a drugs test? How many professionals do that?Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostGreat signing for Rangers.. Think he will improve the team spirit and fit in really well.. Ultimate professional to boot! Joey, Clint and Rio. We have some great leaders in our squadSupporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

(anyone remember that show? or was it another bad dream?)I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

OK apart from one mistake? I see him as an ultimate professional and I think most people would. He made that mistake about 10 years ago FFSOriginally posted by QPR Richard View PostUltimate professional eh? I take it you've forgotten about his ban for failing to take a drugs test? it does make me laugh that at every opportunity you get you slate Rio!... to be honest mate I was with you and didn't want him here but I am warming to the idea, especially that'll only be short term (more than likely only 1 year). I can see him bringing a lot of positivity to the dressing room and add to the good vibe, something that you can't have enough of especially considering how low it was only a couple of years ago. Also think he'll attract a few signings even if Caulker doesn't come here I can see another young CB wanting to join with Rio being one of the main reasons.

To be fair we have all made mistakes in our past and I think we are endangering ourselves of being over cautious because of our last few failing Prem signings, Park, Bosingwa etc. I thought he came across very well during the World Cup and I think he will be a very good signing indeed, totally different level from the 2 I mention above and will attract others to the club.Originally posted by QPR Richard View PostUltimate professional eh?
