Serious question ........ Is Hooper as good as people are making out,the reason I ask is he was at Scunny and went up to play in what is really 2nd Division football in Scotland, I have seen many players score goals up there and when they head south they just can't cut it. It's ok scoring against the likes of st mirren,Dundee utd, Kilmarnock etc but had he the quality for the English league remembering we are buying a young sticker to go into the prem with us

Not all that strong, no pace but clinical in his finishing. Just what we need.

He can finish .....Thats the crucial thing ...... With the right man alongside him (And yes I include Zamora for his physical presence ) he will get goals

Also proven on the European stage ...so yes he is that good

So, Park and Bosingwa have both won the Champions League, they're still **** though so really means nothing.

So what, Mackie scored against the premier league champions, doesn't make him a great goal scorer

Don't know where they picked this up btw, just had a few texts asking about it today.
He'd get kicked to ribbons up there

No but 63 goals in 95 games is better than mackies return

Its league 1 standard where he is playing now so remember the Championship will be a step up for him and might take some time to acclimatize. Lets not get on his back if he doesnt return that kind of goal rate.

Played alright in the CL, looked comfortable and held the ball up well vs Spartak and even at Barca away!

Ha- typical, arguing over whether he's good or **** before he's even kicked a ball for us.

Just wait and see instead of getting all worked up convincing people he's one or the other.

Out of interest V, how do you think he will fit into the Air Asia marketing strategy, or do you think this is a genuine HR signing?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm a bit concerned about this signing. Several people have said outright this will not happen. Not an opinion, just a point-blank not happening.

I'm sure Daz is right, but just wondering if those who said it won't happen know something different.
