THis is just history repeating itself, I dont get why people get so het up over this stuff really. however what i would say about this particular example is that the title of the thread was misleading to the extent that people are expecting news of a signing and then are deflated cause its only hearsay and then nothing happens, so thats the only problem for me, don't go all ber.tie big boll.ocks and then take umbrage if people get upset because they feel they have been misled

and the people taking umbrage, this is wearetherangersboys, home of ched evans on the bus and interview with briatore and other such utter nonsense, if you dont read ITK post without a salt seller stuck up your nose you might want to try it

TBH what I'd like to know even more than if Hooper has signed or not is whether or not that many people's spelling is so poor, or are they just deliberately misspelling it 'sauce' instead of 'source'?

Maybe I am unusual in this but I do not care anything about anybody's ego, who says what or why and whether they are right or wrong. If somebody has some information post it, but don't post it in a way that it looks like it is done and dusted.

I suggested sometime ago that the mods could perhaps find some way of differentiating between what is rumour and what is fact by a different sort of heading. This doesn't mean waiting until the offy announces it (as this sometimes takes two or three days), but from reliable sources (such as Sky news and the BBC).

I'd be gutted if this turns out to be true! There was always a worry that a Premiership Club would step in once it became apparent that a deal was agreed with Celtic, but my source clearly said to me "he's signed so I still have no reason to disbelieve him given everything else was spot on. I'll try and speak to my source after 10am. He won't surface until around then so I'd just be bombarding him to no avail.
