Cisse is bar far the most talented striker we have and Harry needs to get him working or we will go down.

JM runs a lot, and had a good game, but how often does he run a lot and produce nothing. It's goals we need, not chasing down lost causes to win the odd throw in.

Berbatov won the title and goldon boot not so long ago without chasing a single ball down in a year. #### Cisse off all you like, but we need him firing again.

Don't even compare berbatov to cisse, what an absolute ****e comment that doesn't really deserve a reply. Berbatov is on a different level who can read the line.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

        You disagree with him then?

Berbatov of today is Cisse of yesterday.
Cisse of today is Berbatov of tomorrow.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Sorry Brighton, I am calm however I don't understand what fans think Cisse offers in terms of anything? He's like a darren bent, if he isn't scoring goals which he doesn't then you might as well stick a mannakin upfront.

You think JM is a more talented striker then? OrZammo? We don't exactly have a lot to choose from right now.

And I don't think you really understood the point about Berba - I am comparing their lack of off the ball effort, which is comparable. However, I think ability to score is more importanat than running around like a headless chicken, unluck many fans.

He has been very disappointing this season, no question.

Trying to be positive though, maybe it was partly down to him not starting games and partly down to Hughes's tactics not suiting him at all. He has certainly scored goals wherever he has been.

Having said that, if a player wants to prove a point and give himself more opportunities to play and less chance of being dropped, then young Mr Mackie has once again demonstrated how to go about it.

Mackie scored and held the ball up and brought other players into the game.

I am NOT a mackie fan and realise he has limited ability but Cisse has no right going on this season performance to be in our starting 11. HR got it spot on by dropping the bloke imo. Will it get a reaction in training to give him a 2nd chance, I doubt it.

...but who do you think is more talented? If it is Cisse then it can be turned round. Maybe he just never clicked with MH.

I think it certainly will. I cant imagine Cisse wanting to accept only being good enough for little old QPR's bench. My money would be on him being right fired up to proove a point to Arry - and I hope this is the case as there's no doubting Cisse's ability, just a shame he hasnt been firing at all for us this season.

Agree with you though WeAre that at the moment Mackie more than warrants his place in the starting 11 over Cisse.

silvercue all this lets play our most talented players is nonsense imo.

We need to pick a side that will blend and we are in a dog fight. I think HR realises in our position we need players that will fight for the cause not luxury players that stroll around looking clueless and keep linesmans busy. Mackie had some bad decision where he was actually on side and he gave a very good performance. For me if samba and mbia can come back in the side we will create chances. They bossed the middle of the park and they r 2 big units. Mackie can score goals and can be clinical. I think he's better as a centre forward than a winger where he tends to aimlessly run into corners so the bloke deserves a chance whereas cisse has had his!

They both looked mustard on Saturday. As soon as they both went off we went flat and seemed to lack any sort of hold on the midfeld.

If we didn't have 2 forced injuries Saturday I'm sure HR would of thrown on an angry itching to prove a point Cisse. Unfortunately the luck gods were against us again & this wasn't feasible. I'm sure Harry wants him fired up as he like us knows he's a goal scorer but at times like this you do need a player like Mackie (and I'm not a big fan) as we are in a dog fight & if I had to choose someone to go to war with right now it wouldn't be Djibril Cisse.

agree, they make me feel half glass full. We just need a run of luck, that means no injurys and we must be due a lucky goal.
