If you bothered to read my original post I said it was pretty likely Barton was attacked/ provoked/ whatever. My point is given all that's swirling around him he shouldn't be allowing himself to get into these kind of situations by being half naked outside a nightclub at 5am.

I did indeed bother to read your post. My comments were directed at the people you find are frustrated, whereas I see something else entirely.

I myself have said on many occasions he should keep a low profile. That doesn't mean he deserves to get attacked, by those outside the nightclub or indeed those in this thread.

I'm sure Barton is a target...... ie brought upon himself. However more than a target he is Trouble with a capital T and as the saying goes trouble always finds trouble!! I don't hate Barton I hate what he is doing for the image of our club and these days image is key in promoting the club at home and equally abroad
