      Really?

      Guess so.

Not exactly nice football. Though good fighting spirit, good at bringing players on, 2 strikers, alot to like.

It's all that's wrong with the PL , little teams like Burnley over the moon to stay in the division with no chance of winning it .Teams celebrating just for staying up . What just do Burnley expect dyche to do on his budget

          Sad isn't it.
I actually get the whole style of football thing.
We have played some really great passing football since Warbs came in but we have also been totally impotent and made nightmarish mistakes.
Sir Warnock of Kernow has never been accused of playing pretty football but his teams have always played effective football, winning football.
For me winning football is the best.

Chairman Alan Pace: "Firstly, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sean and his staff for their achievements at the club over the last decade.

“During his time at Turf Moor, Sean has been a credit both on and off the pitch, respected by players, staff, supporters, and the wider football community.

“However, results this season have been disappointing and, while this was an incredibly difficult decision, with eight crucial games of the campaign remaining, we feel a change is needed to give the squad the best possible chance of retaining its Premier League status.

Pace needs to sack himself. Muppet.

              Worth considering though.

Their loss might be our gain?

Staggered at this decision. He has performed miracles for years there. Really they should struggle to be a bang average Championship side. He has created a system where players of relatively limited ability can slot in and do a job.

Remember watching an interview with him a few years ago, very attuned and intelligent guy. Listening to his footballing philosophy could tell exactly how he had got Burnley to the Premiership and stayed in there. Think very few other managers could have done it.

I can honestly say I cannot remember being this surprised at a sacking. They were bound to come down at some point. Put simply they are miles off having the structure in place to be a Premiership side.

Would love him to come to us but that would be almost as big a surprise as his sacking!

At least it will make it easier to try and take some points off them next season.

                    Really!

If he were here and QPR were performing the same way as Burnley .losing 6 of the last 8 ....oh wait....most on here would be calling for Dyche to be sacked. regardless of how well he had previously done.

I would love us to get him. We need a team which is solid at the back. Creativity is the next step. Imo...

He'd deffo gone stale there. Reckon he could have got launched in December but their plight didn't look so bad next to the likes of Norwich Watford, Newcastle, Leeds and Everton. Be a fantastic acquisition if we managed to sign him.

That is the key, all these managers have a shelf life no matter how well they have done in the past, the same I think has happened with MW right before our eyes! It is the same with all professional sports, the coach/manager can only read the same script so many time before players tune out, this is why NCAA football coaches can stay with programs for so long, there is a guaranteed player turnover so coaches don't have to change, players have to adapt!
