Bang on. Feed off the knock-downs of the big man.

How did Peterbrough set up when he had his goal bonanza season?
Anyone follow them as a second team and know?

Conor has got pace going for him and all them giant CBs would obviously be shattered come the last 15 mins chasing our boy all over the gaff. Hence why we score and batter teams in the last quarter when the likes of Polter comes on. Just a thought.

like to see him play off Polter in a two-prong attack. While he has been disappointing, like others have stated, no way is he a lone striker and to be honest, that system needs to be elbowed pronto

He played in a 4-4-2; ditto when he banged them in for NI during their qualifiers. QED.

Played very well yesterday didn't he? I know he didnt score, and you get judged on that, but I thought he looked good (though, I was not there).

This. Shame that fact can't enter Jimmy's head.

Seems many like myself have called for him to be played in a two. Appears Jimmy is not interested.

That'll be his downfall. Stubbornness, arrogance, not learning from his mistakes and boring football.

Or as he liked to call it in the podcast the other week - 'Sticking to his methods'

If only he and Henry were sat with Jim in Pret A Manger and were going to be the support acts for the big speech, then everyone could of hounded out and booed off the three hate figures all in one fell swoop.

Not sure Washington is a figure of hate at all.

Not at all. Some folk, sensible ones too, only worry he's not good enough.
