As he was present last night and witnessed a stadium that was not full for a local and a team a damn sight worse than the one he bought back in 2011. Surely the man has to do a Keegan and say he is not qualified to be chairman. We need Amit back running the show as he was during Warnock's time and he even targeted the best manager we have had in the last 10-15 years.

Why do you think it's that simple? How do you know Amit wants more involvement or that share issues make it completely impossible? Also just cos something worked in the past, there is no guarantee that it will again.

Fernandes has talked a good game but under him we have gone backwards and unless addressed soon we will be paying for this for a long time. I understand it is not easy where the training ground and new stadium is concerned but surely you need to get the playing side right first? No point getting a stadium for a team not worthy of playing in it.

The way they want to build a foundation is going to take time if they aren't spending big on players. The new manager whoever it will be needs to be given time too.

Two relegations and two golden premier league tickets that has been regally ####ed up. Bournemouth, Swansea, Palace to name a few have managed to get it right when in the premier league so not sure why we could not when we had 2 bites of the cherry. The foundations should have been built in 2011-2012 instead of buying Cisse, Barton and the like and paying them 70k plus a week. We should be spending wisely and running it like a championship club.

He hasn't helped himself as he has consistently made the wrong decisions in appointing certain people to the club, but he seems like his intentions are or were good for the club.
Hughes, Beard, Rigg, Ferdinand have all been paid handsomely and given massive authority with his cheque book and the return has been p iss poor.
In fairness to Redknapp he got us promoted back up, something we look a million miles away from at the moment and we actually got returns from some of his signings like Charlie, Phillips and Fer. Most of Hughes' signings were paid off to leave.

I back Tony Fernandes 100 %.
Time under him has been fairly successful compared to 15 years before him.
I think he has made only one major mistake and that was giving too much power to Beard, Hughes and his agents. That was understandable as he was so fresh in football business.
He has learnt from that and signed Ferdinand as DOF. I think we now have a solid base to build new success. I fully understood and backed appointment of Jimmy, it just didn't work. We are not the only club in history who has made mistakes in appointing wrong managers. Let's not exaggerate our situation. It's not that bad some might want to express.
