If he really is asking for 90k a week, we should tell him to **** off now and try and push something through quickly. Jordan Rhodes possibly?

Surely we sound out what a player is currently on and what he may want before submitting a bid and wasting our time

**** him - we have always been VERY fair when it comes to personal terms, and will have offered him at least what he is on at Liverpool. To be honest I think this guy is trying to find reasons not to leave Liverpool, in the deluded belief that he will actually make their first team.

If we have to pay ether Defoe or Borini £90k pw, i'd choose Defoe.
Thing is if JD wants out of Toronto then he will surely negotiate wages, not demand. Same with Borini, he doesn't seem keen on sunderland so surely will not demand himself out of a move
