You can't surely believe, he's a good CEO for the club? Seriously? Granted it's not all his fault and he's been thrown in at the deep end but he's made a pigs ear of it.
Clearly you have access to the personel files and or confidential club finances to make all these statements. This post sums up what is wrong with this thread, it's based on pure assumption and it's like a witch hunt against Beard for some reason.

As for my opinion of him, i have no issue as CEO and think he's anything but "out of his depth" and does a good job for the club and the owners. Bear in mind also the amount of ins and outs there have been since he joined and the turnover of playing staff is probably as high as any club, so anything but an easy job. Has he faltered?? I wouldnt say so. Not sure exactly what you expect from a CEO......

You trying to say I'm making it up? Each to their own but the facts are clear.

He flew back to London last week and spoke to the club. He might as well sack his agent if it was only talks mind!
No the facts are not clear..they are, you spoke to ferdinand on the tube..that is a fact you can't prove..other than that everything is total speculation.

The one thing i do find hilarious, not only this forum but all QPR forums is .........we have never ever had so much money to spend on players in the club and our fans are
wringing their hands and worrying like old misers how much we are paying players, yet the owners seem quite happy to chuck the dough around.....only at Rangers!!

Nothing strange about this after living through the Hughes debacle and seeing us get relegated despite all the money spent.

So basically we're supposed to believe that a seasoned professional spoke to a stranger on a train to reveal that he was off to sign a contract with us?

And you didn't warn him that Beard had been busy with the Tipp-Ex?

I blame you for this mess then.

I saw Rio on a rickshaw bike in Leicester Square last night. He said he's never met Matty, he's talking rubbish and he said he would play for us on a pay as you play deal, FACT

                        anyway...

                        http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...-Redknapp.html

rio to sign next week and caulker fee agreed with cardiff accprding to arry.

fwiw, i don't get lots of things about this deal. was rio really on £200k at man utd? according to most man utd fans he was on £80-90k last year... if we're really thinking of paying him not that much less given his recent injury record, then no wonder the chairman is thinking of saying no.

Where have I said Rio told me he was going to sign? He confirmed he was in talks. The question is though, why would he travel all the way from Brazil to just talk, isn't that what an agent's for?

The Telegraph have just quoted Harry as saying Rio will sign after the world cup anyway and also we've agreed a fee with Cardiff for Caulker and it's now up to the player.

So he told you he was in talks and nothing more? Sounds like you're adding 2 to 2 and getting 5 mate.... He could have already signed but based on the telegraph article quoting Harry as "it's now up to the player" suggests he came over for talks and has gone back to think about it...
