Rio Ferdinand is no Jose Bos****a.

Like him or loathe him can you ever look at him & think of him as a lazy player? A player that doesn't give 100%? A shirker?

No chance. Only ever see him driving players on, fist pumping to encourage, celebrating goals like a madman oh and let's not forget we're QPR & he's still a ****** good player!!

Also lots were creaming a month or two ago that Dunne got a new deal as he'd done well & Clint should do. Rio is younger than both. Just saying.

Hope you're right mate. My concern is our backup in that position is Hill/Dunne (Neds already a starter) and the prems a lot faster and physical than the championship. But if he's joined, then he's an Rs player and he'll get my support.
      SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

I am a massive rio fan and I think he was a fantastic defender but I really think he is too old, even for a team trying to stay up. A logical route would be to sign an experienced defender with a few miles left on the clock. I have liked the look of vlaar so lets hope there is truth in the rumour
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Rumored one year deal only. Win win as far as I'm concerned.

Still think we will see a young defender come in as well, Rio will be good for morale, coaching and also it will be seen by other players we are after that we mean business. He maybe getting on but he has respect from his fellow pro's which may swing a couple of other targets

Can't get my head round it. I understand Hughseless has scarred us all with his sh!te signings but this is different gravy as far as I'm concerned

                          Most over used comment.

                          Look at Fernando Torres.

                          Class is far from permanent.

1 year deal on sensible money is a good signing.

I was worried we would end up doing a 2 year deal on silly money and end up being stuck with him if we go down.
