If a Wigan player had done it to one of ours, we'd be demanding retroactive punishment.

You're being extremely generous in your assessment of that incident.

I love Clint to bits, QPR legend in the making. That was a moment of madness, and he/we got away with it.

I don't see the authorities having enough time to do anything before Monday though.

Without having seen the incident on TV, was it worse than Caldwell's on Junior?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The occasion and caring so much totally got to him last night, he was like a man possessed and looked like he was desperate to get sent off. Well scary.

Fess up to being totally biased where that top man's concerned, Deeps, but I would think the same thing if it had been a Wigan fella. The striker was caught on the top of the head, which isn't where you'd deliberately throw an elbow. Clint threw the elbow trying to get airborne. Was a foul- and thereby a penalty (whew!!)- but nothing other then that IMHO.

clints part of a defence that was second best in the championship this year and we got some people sayong hes not up to it - i agree the prem is prob a far reach for him now due to the extra pace but i still know we can rely on him atm and i hope hes at the club for a very long time

Clint Hill is the soul and spirit of this team, and a reminder that football for some is a sport of honor. With that said, we NEED to replace Dunne as a starter at home Monday night; just isn't the same player as first half of the season; full of mishits and other mistakes -- Yun is ready!!!

Desperate to get sent off? Not so sure about that. He may of rode his luck but I think too much is being made about the incidents if I'm honest

Not literally, but you can sometimes tell when a player is going the way of getting sent off in a game, like bae did the other week, i even called it in the match thread before it happened.
                      This place sometimes i swear.

Twas an accicident, and he said sorry...case closed.
Matty think it looked worse than the Caldwell incident, but Caldwell mean't to do it dirty b***ard....where as poor Clint didn't.....I demand the FA take retrospective action and
hand Caldwell,Maloney and McManaman 3 game bans ......b***ards

He was very lucky not to get sent off. We need to remember that he's no left back but that is the task he's been given and accepted...not that this was relevant to him elbowing matey in the head last night....top player tho!

He is always leaning into players, leaving a trailing leg, doing cynical fouls etc. Easy for a pundit with a million replays to analyse these things.
exactly that w12. in its own right its an art-we happen to have a monet. blocking, shielding,a bit of rough house is what you need with the brain to know when to use it. massive respect imo for utilising what he has...and we've been lucky imo to have his gameness and leadership to plough us on-top pro-we need more at rangers of his ilk.

Clints a good man ,never a Rangers legend ,but a good man . He plays the game to his advantage and dosnt let us down . Not a left back ,let Yun take that on . But would have him in the centre before Dunne every time
