Could you see Wigan winning the prem? Those big clubs have it sewn up while we are a small club with rich owners looking to make a buck.

I can't believe some attitudes on this, there are some wind ups going on here.As i wrote yesterday QPR is not a private little club that belongs only to West Londoners....sorry but that's the truth of it, you can't pick who wants to come and watch them. But I will concede that QPR means different things to all of us, as we can see the majority would welcome a bigger stadium and a sustained time of premier league football, while some want small scale QPR, which will inevitably mean lower league football.
That is not for me, I don't want the famous QPR bumping along the lower reaches along side the Rochdales and Hartlepools of this world, and no that's not me spoilt by money.We had that for decades in our early existence and what all those players and managers strived to get out of.
The QPR i know has been a top 2 divisions side and that is what I would like to see, preferably top division. The location for the new stadium will be London, that's London population over 8 million in the last census. It will, if the product on the pitch is good attract new fans..... of course imo.

Yep small compact 25k stadium somewhere close by. No music events, no empty seats and no trying to fill the stadium with plastics and tourists (Fulham), no rebranding (Cardiff), no renaming (Hull). Preferably no rich dopey foreign businessmen running the club (Chelsea) but that boat has gone :-)

Maybe some want highly regarded players playing for the R's mate, not just against us. Personally I can't wait for the day when Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs turn up with inferior players than us, expecting a hiding. You know, the way things used to be.

We all want that, just don't fancy 3 or 4 empty seats to enhance my match day 'experience' and the outside of the ground to look like Wembley market with burger / T-shirt / half n half stalls everywhere a la OT

Thanks Vblock. I'm trying not to upset you or vespa or NW on this and i can see why you're against this being a soul less museum. I do think better facilities, cheaper tickets will bring new and old fans back.
I do think we have to grow and i do think (hope i'm right) that you and others do want a successful QPR? I realise it is different for "locals" and how you feel about happy clappy face painting fans, and it's not something i can understand not being local, but these fans if we build a new stadium, may come,... are the future of this great club.
