Your right W12 Academy and scouting network is a minimum for a professional club but its something which from my knowledge we have failed in drastically in recent years so in fairness to TF he is putting that in place. We all know how Paladini and Hughes wanted to get there players in and therefore no need for a scouting network and did we not get academy status only after TF arrived??

As you said its the very minimum requirement , we should be careful to not over compensate with giving Fernandes credit due to the failings of others.

That's a fair comment W12 but equally if he is picking up the pieces of others failings we also cannot knock him for doing the right thing as the option does remain for him and the other board members to have followed the status quo of previous owners and opted to do nothing

In hindsight it is now clear that Flavio had no interest in investing in the club long term hence no interest in investing in youth development. He came in with the intention of maximum gain in as short a period as possible and for minimal investment and in fairness to him he appears to have pulled it off.

Ah well Victor, I take an interest in the future of our club, even if you don't.

My mate's just told me that some message boards are saying we are after the Car Giant site in Hythe Road.

Was walking along the canal on the first day of the season from Willesden Junction to Ladbroke Grove, and there was a fair bit of demolition work going on near there.

Around North Acton tube is part of the project site and that has already been totally revamped so far. Loads of housing has gone up and they have demolished the old NEC building and more flats are going up now so planning approval for aspects has already been approved and the ball is well and truly in motion

If I had money I would be buying some property around the perspective site for the ground and opening a boozer

I think that area comes under Brent council?

That NEC building is only 30 years old, remember them knocking down the old Landis & Gyr factory to make way for it. Where are all the jobs to go with these new homes? Guinness, CAV, Walls, just a few companies that employed thousands, now housing
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Good point mate but as you raise it I think two of the blocks are student accommodation but then with North Acton on the door step easy for the commute
