There has been many players who's signed for clubs on day X and then the announcement has been made official days later.

Prime example SSN now reporting that we've had an offer accepted, yet officials from QPR we're in Glasgow at the weekend.

I firstly was told that an offer was accepted for Hooper and we'll know in the next 24/48 hours on the outcome. I was then later told it's all done and dusted. Celtic then omit him from their Champions League side which strangely Celtic then went on to make public. I then went to say his reasons for being left out would either be down to a groin strain or hamstring injury, again a story which Celtic later went on to put out. I don't work for Celtic, I don't write the articles for the press. If it's all made up stuff why would the media publish.

I love the way on here when you pass a bit of info on you get labelled as being on an ego trip. Laughable really. I'll keep my trap shut in future.

I can now cateogoricaly state that hooper hasnt signed neither would he sign,i know him very well we both know some mutual friends and he has said that he would only sign for a prem side if he left celtic

I was trying to explain to another poster, how it works when a poster states that a deal is done and dusted, when reports on a TV suggest otherwise.I should have added on - IN MY OPINION.

IN MY OPINION, the only poster of late I have seen on this messageboard that has passed on correct information has been Ric Roc, but there is someone else, but his name escapes me.
IN MY OPINION ...There are a lot of people who post, mainly on this board, who like to think they are privy to information that others are not. For me a done and dusted deal is not a rumour but...final.I tried to point this out to the other poster who seemed confused.Have to admit, a done and dusted deal in my books would final.For the record, I read and laugh ha ha... and it doesn't bother me.... but like I keep trying to say, just trying to explain to another poster the meaning of done and dusted.

As for meeting you and not Dazzer....i'm sure neither of you would actually give a toss whether you meet me or not - but if you are in the area of R block, pop over and say hello...that's all... Not looking for friendship, although have met quite a few QPR fans through M/boards..so who knows?
