The understanding between the players are not good enough in the final third. We are clearly not Tottenham, just yet.scrappy even first half. Marginally on top. Defence and midfield looking ok but attack looking ragged despite creating half chances. Cisse needs support and to stop shooting on sight. Adel should have scored. Overall the tempo is a bit slow. Probably all to be expected for the bottom side on a cold wet night in Sunderland. Still fancy the draw which will be a decent start so long as the home games are won.QPR

we have looked very good to me, considering we are bottom and 7 points from safety. We have some quality players, but we are lacking killer instinct in front of goal. Shame we got rid of last years top scorer, and DJ Campbell - ridiculous from HughesComment

Cisse : ran hard, but want a big impact.
Tarb: feet on fire, nice work so far.
Mackie: needs more concentration and simple first touches needed to have a better finisher.
Bosingwa: Not in form yet. Good in defense but couldnt run for an overlap.
Diakite: so far so confident!

Granero would be more useful if he would just sit on the ball. The 1st half has been a mixed bag. Still some players 'coasting' out there. However, marked improvement from Granero, Cisse and Traore tonight. Taarabt looks a little off his game, I hope he gets his head into the game and starts being quicker on the ball and a little more incisive.Comment

That is the biggest downer of the first half. Lacking cohesion up front despite creating some openings. The rest of the team look reasonably together though.Comment

Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
