There's something wrong with what JS does with Saito.

Not started in ages and and when he has, he's played him wrong. He's a great little wasp running into the flanks and making things happen, but that's about it. You can't ask alot defensively and you can't play him central, but he's been asked to do both.

Neither saito or Dembele should be anywhere near our 18 yd box but they lost the ball under minimal pressure too often

problem is they got 5 in midfield quick with playing proper full backs field and mbengue can’t do that

Does seem that JS is not able to make on-the-fly adjustments to counter what the opposition are doing. If we get anything out of this it will be in spite of JS, not because of him - selection, formation and tactics all a bit mystifying.

Didn't look offside to me. Haven't seen us play much worse than this for a while.
I think JS' "little grey cells" maybe found a little wanting.
Decent team on the pitch now (save for Frey?????).

This team does my head in, so inconsistent it’s a joke.Really poor all over the pitch, not sure what our best 11 is, how Frey gets on the pitch is laughable, Kolli seems to have disappeared again, and Kone will not regain his confidence sitting on his ####.

All 4 of those players should be on for the second half.Dont know what goes on with this manager and his coaches when picking starting line ups.

Nothing wrong with the starting line ups in the last 2 games though; only when we lose…

3rd game in a week, lots of travel, amd teams do sometimes lose matches.
