Agree with most comments about the manager.Basically we need to play a left back at left back if he’s fit and Norringtin seems to be most games. He gets up and down the pitch and pits in a tackle.Jurys out for me regarding Cook.Mot sure he should be starting. We need an experienced right back. For me Embengis done well but think he’s a centre half.Varane has not been that good this season ,the manager seems to think him and Madison are going to click ,he’s played them together since pre season.Morgan and Fiekd should have had more games in midfield.Dont understand it when we are getting overrun that the manager does not see this.Dembele for me is a waste of space ,hardly tracks back or gets close to closing down to make a tackle.Frey for me is also a waste of space at the moment.Gives far too many stupid fouls away and is not a scorer which we need.Kones been out of form but making him drop behind Burrell is a no for me,he need to be up top battling the centre half’s.Chairs been better but could do with a bit more from him.My point about changing the team when we are doing well goes back to the Oxford home game,we were on a good run and he puts Cook and Frey in from the start,we drew when previously without them were on a run.I know we beat Blackburn but not sure we played that well,The first 20 yes.Just thought even though we won that game we looked shattered at the end then had to go to Norwich .Think we needed fresh legs from the start.Norringtin,Smyth Kone Hayden.Being we were getting overun in midfield ,Morgan or Field could have been brought on and play a three in their.I don’t know I suppose I’m just passionate like everyone else and played Sunday morning pub football drunk lol.You just want us to do better when you know we’ve got quite a good squad unlike previous seasons.

No one should be looking at the manager yet. We have one of weakest squad in the league. It’s been like that for a few years. The fact we don’t get relegated is a miracle in itself. While the managers aren’t great, unless we invest in some money that we don’t have into this squad, expect more the same for years to come and just be thankful we don’t get relegated.

I agree almost entirely with HarrowQPR. The last thing we need is to replace the manager. As for Marti mark2, I think he is better than that. Marti getting the Leicester job was extraordinary. BUT, assuming that Julien picks the side (????), then he needs to stop making so many really stupid and inexplicable mistakes. We could list them but if he doesn't know what they are then we are in trouble.
Forget all that stuff about being a kind if shop window for selling purposes. A winning side is likely to produce more in that respect.
Things seem so obvious. Am I missing something??

I agree on the Varane front, but if you agree that we need transfer fees to survive at this level, then you will agree with CN & JS that Varane needs to develop in the first team. Player development and fee generation are more important than promotion. JS joined us under those Board instructions, but it you want to bring thst down to a base level, then yes, hes CNs puppet. The scene for this business approach was well set when JS was appointed.Originally posted by Harrow QPR View Post
I can't believe i'm calling for the managers head either but he is Marti mark 2 . Th football is marginally better but he has'nt got a clue how to organise us defensively , we are all over the place especially at set pieces, he can't seem to motivate the team to put the effort in , he does'nt know his best eleven , hes team selections are poor and his subs. He is Nourry's little puppet. Most of the fans can see what is going on , why can't he . Why does he persist with Varane , he's crap . We need two Championship centre mids in Jan , that can tackle , run and pass forwards , forget about the 3 little midgets behind Burrel . We are better with 2 up top , either go 442 or 352 otherwise it's another boring 16th place finish again.
I think it's fair to say that Varane's development may have peaked, and if Esponyol come back in for him in Jan, then he'll go. I think Morgan has gained valuable experience in a less risky position of RB, and if Varane goes, he'll step up into defensive central midfield and his development will be enhanced.
We need to bring in £12m a season in fees to break even and £5m for Varane in Jan will be a great start towards that total.

I tend to agree with this.Originally posted by Harrow QPR View Post

He seems breath of fresh air compared to that miserable sod MC, who I doubt could motivate me to get out of bed.
JS is with the players at the training ground and would have asked the winning team at Blackburn whether they were good to go again. Those players obviously told him they were fine. Wed & Sat football for athletes shouldnt be a problem.
I didn't see the game fully today, but saw Mbengue's OG, how can the manager legislate for this type of error. He has already said we have a young team and many are stepping up from lower leagues or the development squad. Our team has weaknesses and that will mean players make mistakes. JS is not a miracle worker and overall hes doing a great job. In fact CN is doing a great job finding these players too.
Let's see who leaves and joins in the Jan window.
Talk of changing managers is just nonsense. We have what we can afford and most on here would be happy with a mid-table finish with an occasional glimmer of making the top six. From what's happened so far, thats what is going to be delivered.

Thought we played first half like we wanted pinball and were far too open. They didn’t look like a bottom two team at all, b. Our defence pretty feeble today across whole back line. Needed wide men who could or would backtrack and form a solid midfield 4. We were often overrun. Burrell looked good but not as lively as he has been. Smithy great fun. Too many stupid fouls last 20.

Loads of us on this site have watched enough football or seen enough of us to know as soon as we get over run in midfield we’re hopeless. Norwich fb got into midfield and we had no control of the game before or after subs
Said earlier on Frey at 1-3 down is not the answer we need a gk who is brave Nardi as soon as the balls in the air he either comes and misses the ball or stays on his line and don’t move got a bloke on loan at lb didn’t play at Blackburn he’s not ours if gets crocked send him back in Jan but watching Sam field at lb like watching a fish out of water
6 points from 9 but today was total shite

Every single player we have is overrated making it a collectively overrated team.. I think JS is dining out on having caught PSG on a bad day and Mr. Data bought it. I wish both could be removed and replaced by a MANAGER with total responsibility for the composition of the squad and tactics . Yes, I know the pay off would be prohibitive now but if we were to go down, it would happen.
Did the owners appoint Mr. Data on the basis
of a 10 minute computer demonstration?

Sorry 3 can’t agree mate we want an expect to win attitude not a hope to win one. We are an easy club to play against and have been for a while albeit for a few good spellsOriginally posted by 3London View PostThe most predictable result of the season and 6 points in a week is ok I guess.

Predictable- Yes but acceptable- No.
We played pretty well against Hull but not that good when we beat Blackburn. The positivity I saw vs Hull, has quickly vanished. I am afraid that I am quickly joining the ranks questioning JC. Just as Marti is quickly damaging LCFC I fear JC is making too many errors, not to be spoken of in the same breath.
I think most of us in the forum would have sent out a team capable of contesting the game better than those who started today. We definitely would not have brought on Frey and we would find a way to utilise Saito properly.
A central focus figure up front is also essential. I rest my case

I agree completely about not changing a winning team , if you get enough rest between games and you are winning by dominating and deserving of the win but the win against Blackburn was scrappy and could of gone either way and we only won it when the changes were made. Smyth was excellent at Blackburn and deserved to start today in place of Dembele. Field actually went down injured at Blackburn and we nearly subbed him , he played the full 90 so should'nt have started today , our first choice left back should have started.Originally posted by SheepRanger View PostDon't change a winning team.......unless that team loses.....then of course we should have used the squad to freshen things up.

This is where a good manager earns his money , i'm afraid JS has'nt got a clue about his best eleven , how to gee the players up to bust a gut or how to rotate and make his subs , he's Nourry's yes man and a complete wet fish.
