QPR line up cut-price defender deal

MICHAEL Dawson is set to be the surprise new signing that brings a semblance of defensive normality to QPR – but the Spurs centre back will cost nowhere near a reported £10 million

In fact, the 28 year-old, (pic) surplus to needs in north London, could sign in the next 24 hours for closer to £3m as Spurs look to offload Tom Huddlestone as well

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though, personal terms still to be agree and I have a feeling the wages won't be cheap.

The thought of us spending £9m on a 28 year old defender, who recently had a very nasty injury, plus, I would imagine not unsubstantial wages, scares me a little.

I'm still not fully adjusted to the full reality of being in the Prem, and what we will need to do to ensure we're still in it next season when the gravy train gets gravier...

I remember that we fell out of the Prem, just before the first big money TV deal, and it cost us dearly then.
Massive amount to pay and it is a risk but what choice do we have,we need some decent CB's. This should of been the first bit of business done and it wasn't so now we are left paying big prices because after satd everyone can see we are desperate.

if Anzhi gonna sell samba to us, they will want to sell him for profit which is understandable

samba were gonna sign for Qpr last season if blackburn were willing to sell him, they didnt cos they didn't wanna sell their best player to a club who was in the dog fight with them last season.
