''Marseilles squashed chance of Barton moving to France (''unthinkable'') and Mbia moving to West London''

Might not be going ahead after all?

I don't know why I always fall for SkySportsNews, it's actually a lot of crap
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

It really is mate- they're sources are s**t and that Bryan Swanson just makes stuff up so he has a chance to use his fancy transfer screen again.

I hope I'm wrong and on this occassion SSN are right- but it seems that all of the signals from Marseille are basically saying why the hell would we swap one of our best defenders for Barton... which makes sense.

Exactly. Hughes just said that we've had emails with Marseille but nothing is done. SkySports being liars again

People who say Boswinga is a good squad addition are totally missing the point, it's not like a cost free option.

IMO we've done two decent bits of business this summer: Park (still miles left in tank) and Diakite.

I would sacrifice all the rest, Boswinga included, for solid CB with a future rather than a past. We've ended up with a variety of options, which is fine, but it is not the same as having a rock solid back line.

Ah it turns out i can post, I had to send PM to someone to get my points across...

Earlier in the Week the Marseille chairman came out and said that M'Bia as well as a couple of other players would be sold due to their financial situation, as they did not get Champions League last year their revenue has significantly reduced. This means they are willing to sell whether it involves Joey or not....

Marseille chairman Vincent Labrune has confirmed the clubs primary ambition this summer is to reduce the wage bill.

I also read this in a French newspaper. A loan deal looks good for them, because they cut down on the wage bill but have the option of having him back at the end of the season if the get Champions League.

Ah so maybe they will take JB on loan if we buy Mbia?

                            QPR close in on Bosingwa

QPR are close to agreeing a deal to bring former Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa to Loftus Road.

So by signing and playing Boswinga at right back and moving Onahura to CB, IMO opinion does not make us stronger.
Bosingwa not as good at right back as Ned? Comedy gold mate, one of your best. But probably better to put a smiley after comments like that as some of the slower members won't recognise it as another example of your dry wit and think you are actually being serious.
