Coventry have some money after selling Dann and Fox for over £5m, so they could probably afford the £2-2.5m that Leeds want.

We have been in interested in Beckford for months this is nothing new.

Until WALKONBY comes on here and says we are in for Beckford and are preparing a bid then I'll take what Pete says with a large pinch of salt. I find it quite ironic a few days before the big Kick Off that we are now discussing this and reading between the lines to me it seems your post has been started to get interest going amongst supporters before the start of the season.

I may be wrong but for now I will interpret this thread as a red herring passed onto Pete by Paladini. Last I heard a week and half ago coming straight from Paladini we were in for a Left Back and that was it. What has changed since then? Its not like we haven't be scoring goals during pre-season.
