HH would never move to Leeds.

More chance if we offer Rose or Balanta on loan.

Our strikers aren't good enough to score us the requred amount, but none of them would take a step down to league one.

I presume you're referring to WBA and not us in that statement? We'll do well to finish top half this season.

Bring him to QPR and it may just curb that attitude of his.

And to say he's not all that is utter nonsense.

The lad is quick, strong, good in the air and has a great eye for goal.

It's annoying keeping on repeating myself, but he is a scorer of GREAT goals as well as QUANTITY. Long range efforts, poachers in the box, headed goals, lobs and volleys. Make no mistake, he is the better equiped striker out of all the league one front men to make a succesful step up.

Personally, I'm shocked no one has taken the gamble yet.

I'll wager he'd get a minimum of 15 in his 1st season in the CCC providing he gets a fair run out.

          Eh?

He's at Leeds United. One of the top ten clubs in the country regardless of current league position. A high profile transfer with attendant signing on fee would fuel the ego rather than curb it.

            You've got to be joking?

Who cares about the Leeds history? They are a league one club and have been for two years. He's too good for that league, hence the big fish quote.

You are a poster who's opinion I massively respect as you more often than not are fairly spot on, but to brand a league one club as a top ten in the country is completely insane. Leeds are in league one because they deserve to be. I don't buy all this crap about them being too big for that league as that's where they are playing. Forest were there for a while as they deserved to be. We were for the same reason, just as Man City were.

Saying that is pretty much as bold as saying teams like Stoke, Hull, Fulham and Burnley don't belong to be in the Prem which is unfair because they have earnt their place by playing good/effective football and working hard at it.

The main point has been missed Benny. Whether Leeds is a big club or little club is irrelevant. The point Nodge was making was that a high profile transfer would merely fuel the lads ego, which is the last thing he or WBA/QPR/whoever would need.

he can only score goals if theyre handed to him on a plate

he wont perform as not as many chances will come in the ccc

To a degree, but to dismiss Leeds as a "small pond" is incredulous and massively disrespectful.

I agree to an extent clunge, but he'll also be brought back to earth with a bang when he realises he's not the biggest thing at the club and that he's here to do a job.

You've taken that way out of context. That comment was not aimed at Leeds United as a club. That was aimed at league one in general. He's for me the best striker in the league and he clearly knows it. And even if I did mean Leeds, I wouldn't class it as 'disrespectful'

What fantasy world do you live in, go to be the most ridiculous thing ive read on here for a long while.
Of course he would because at the minute I think we'll only rake in around 11,000 a week

We'll probably average 10k this season?

With a goal scorere and some sign of ambition to progress, we'll get far more fans willing to part with their money. It's a 100% fact that the higher we are in the league, the more fans turn up. Always has been and not only at QPR. If Beckford comes and is a success, he'll be worth a further 15 points to us therefore pushing us up the league and getting bums on seats.[/QUOTE]

If we are top 6 then expect gates to be high 15k's to 16k's so how is that a ridiculous statement!

WBA have put a bid in and now we have supposedly made an enquiry. Why are we always a step behind everybody else?

                              Leeds.

                              Big club.

                              Small team.
