lots of leeds in west sussex is there mate? well i dont know about you but most of the goals ive seen him score are the exact opposite to handed on a plate. He can score out of nothing and would be fabulous signing, but we know it wont happen.

        You joker.

Have you actually seen any of his goals?

As I said, he's a scorer of QUALITY goals. He hit some spectacular strikes last season. I'd go as far as to say at least 50% of his goals are quality, and most of the others are where he's had the brains to gamble and get himself into the right positions.
        Your mum would love me...

ask most QPR fans if he scored 30 crap goals they would still be happy....boy knows where the goal is and finds it on a regular basis, something we lack.

With over 2000 hits on this subject in less than 4 hours since Pete posted it, and nearly 80 responses at a time when most people are working, doesn't this show our doubters and more to the point our board of directors, that this would be a popular signing, to the extent that many are saying they would renew their ST's if it happened.

I'd be happy with the signing but IMO its not going to happen, we didn't sign Lita who is some that was on a free and has proven that he will score goals at this level! Beckford hasn't proven himself at this level and will require a big fee at least 2 million and I would have thought he will be asking for pretty big wages too, he is a bigger gamble than Lita was and w didn't want to gamble on him!

West Brom or Wolves. We've got no chance against the big teams. Another one will surely bite the dust. How many more will we let go. SHOCKING

not going to happen, huge lack of ambition, always too slow and too scared in the transfer market.

I was at the wycombe game and heard Geejaybee speak to paladini ref Beckford Gianni stated that we had inquired about Beckford on numerous occasions (from the horses mouth) he said that on one occasion they (leeds) priced him at five million and when we went back they negotiated to four million which qpr felt was still to much he also stated that if we (Ie the fans) gave him four million he would get us Beckford.
so to sum it up i feel that the club do see the value of Beckford and have tried to sign him however they are not prepared to be paying over the odds.
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

His elbow on David Forde of Millwall last season was quite simply disgusting.

Rumoured to have had an attitude when at Wealdstone etccc but then again that doesn't make him a bad player or a bad effect on the dressing room, as long as he can channel it in the right way.

                                Forget beckford.

Lets just buy captain birds eye himself, we need a new mascot right?

Three mil would be money well spent just to watch him parade around LR in a pirates outfit pre-game..

                                :-)
