I am glad someone else noticed this, every single ball that dropped Newcastle won. I can't remember us winning a second ball all game and that made it a lot easier for them

To be honest effort was there but unfortunatly our midfield and strikers are inept with exeption to Buzacky who actually looked good

Wouldnt say we lacked effort, I think we lacked ideas, quality going forward and the ability to inject pace / urgency into the game.

Second half took a lot effort from me just to keep watching until the end of the game.
Never looked like scoring , very poor from the team , Hughes has a lot of work to do, it doesn't look like we could beat anyone

I think at the beginning of the season, we would have accepted a 1-0 defeat at Newcastle. The problem is with the other games (especially at home) which we should have at least got a result. Hopefully we can now start winning these games, build up confidence and then perhaps win or drawer some games we are not expecting to get a result from.

Eh? We won the vast majority of second balls in the first half. We we're well on top for gge first half hour, and their goal came against the run of play. It was only their third attack.

benj we obviously watched the same game.....i thought that bothroyd should now be farmed out on loan.............mackie though trying has no end product and derry far far too slow.........buzz i thought didnt produce enough to warrant a place and the fact we cant score will see us relegated as goals win games!
