I think you'll find he's referring to 2 different occasions. And cannot believe you cannot remember the booing at each of them.Originally posted by Bernie's Barnet View PostPut into actual perspective, Jim "The Nutter" Magilton was in charge of us when we beat Barnsley 5-2. And there was no booing that day.

I can sort of see where you're coming from Russ, but on the flip side, surely these "thousands" you refer to could come up with one piece of evidence that would stand up to scrutiny and make it impossible for him to be defended by those you feel do it for the sake of it. I'm just wondering what's holding them back.Originally posted by RussRanger View PostThink it's a waste of time discussing this subject on here. Despite all the evidence against, we just get told that every accusation (and there's been a few) against the guy is just unsubstantiated hearsay and that everyone on here and the press has fabricated all the stories against him. Why thousands of us would do that just for sheer bedevilment is beyond me?

Well I think the whole Blackfriar's court case that got thrown out was a good example. And the stitching up of Ian Holloway are well documented pieces of evidence against him but I'm sure we'll get told that Ian Holloway lied in his book (if so, why didn't Gianni sue him?) and that the court case was just a Dallas type dream sequence that never existed.
I actually admire Pete for his loyalty to the guy but he does seem to portray Gianni as the most misunderstood guy since Bill and Ben.

When you say "stitching" of Holloway, do you mean not being happy that he wanted to talk to Leicester? Wouldn't be the last time that particular dalliance resulted in him walking away from a club, would it?Originally posted by RussRanger View PostWell I think the whole Blackfriar's court case that got thrown out was a good example. Not trying to be pedantic Russ, just looking at it from a different perspective.

Love the way it gets backed up with links to the FA and is blatantly ignored by Pete and James1979 who go off a tangent between them for a page at least to sink this minor detail.Originally posted by Jamie View PostYep, Paladini charged with two offences, submitting false documentation, and bringing the game into disrepute...
He was cleared of 1 offence...
I thought if Paladini was found guilty he had to go. That was what both Pete and isleworth said. Well theres the evidence. First page, linked to the FA's website.
The whole points deduction debacle was Paladinis fault.
How that can be covered up not even a week since it's end is beyond me. The hearing brought the clubs name into disrepute. Other clubs call us cheats. The media were all over us like a rash. Thank **** we didn't get a points deduction but if that had of happened certain posters on here would STILL defend the man!

And I have repeated that mamy many times and stand by it but some prefer to just ignore that point and continue to chip away (not referring to you by the way in this instance)Originally posted by Hoopaman View PostLove the way it gets backed up with links to the FA and is blatantly ignored by Pete and James1979 who go off a tangent between them for a page at least to sink this minor detail.

This is what's frustrating mate, people support paladini over the club. We know what they said but they never ment it. Paladini is the gravy train driver and no matter what he does some won't ever accept he is a liability.Originally posted by Hoopaman View PostLove the way it gets backed up with links to the FA and is blatantly ignored by Pete and James1979 who go off a tangent between them for a page at least to sink this minor detail.

It would be interesting to hear brightons views on the 2 charges as he is nice and balanced. Does he see that paladini is accountable?

Genuine question but has Paladini been proved yet to be responsible for one of the guilty charges as from what I have seen so far he was found not guilty (un proven) on one of the origional two charges and the other seems to have disappeared but that may have been in agreement with the FA so the club as a whole rather then as an individual were found guilty?Originally posted by terry ball View PostThis is what's frustrating mate, people support paladini over the club. That Paladini accepted a call from Leicester and gave him permission and actively urged him to go and speak to Leicester leaving Holloway to believe he was no longer wanted at the club.
And then when Holloway talks to Leicester, Gianni puts him on "gardening leave" and comes out with "If you are happy in your marriage, why go and look somewhere else?"

Out of the 7 charges, 5 were unproven and 2 were proven. What would be good to know would be what five charges were dropped and what 2 charges were proven, costing us £825,000.Originally posted by IsleworthRanger View PostGenuine question but has Paladini been proved yet to be responsible for one of the guilty charges as from what I have seen so far he was found not guilty (un proven) on one of the origional two charges and the other seems to have disappeared but that may have been in agreement with the FA so the club as a whole rather then as an individual were found guilty?
After we know that information, people can see if GP was guilty of anything or not and see if he should stay or go, as everyone agreed if he was guilty of anything, he should go. Someone was responsible for the 2 charges and nobody should be able to hide behind it was 'QPR FC that was charged'.Last edited by paulmason; 11-05-2011, 08:27 AM.
