What did Ashley Cole do apart from play for Chelsea that would make him so universally hated here?

Something with John Terry and Anton I assumed but my googling isn't showing me anything.

I believe Cole was standing close to both of them when the exchange happened, but stated he didn't hear anything so accused of standing by the team captain rather than another black man. Selective hearing was thrown at him.

Didn't he also bring a shotgun into training, send half naked photos of himself to girls online etc etc.

How long do we have to wait for a new manager? Preseason starts soon, have we failed with several of candidates on our shortlist?! It would be stupid to make any transfers without a new manager in place.

I know I've mentioned it but surely we can keep him now. Nourry needs to stop acting like a spoilt brat. We certainly don't want Cleverley or Carrick as manager so let's just stick.

Well, if the bone of contention was the fellah in Dubai, who is now full time again at HQ, then yes. Marti can legitimately say he wanted to leave because of the lack of player support.

If he stays then i hope we can bulk up the squad in numbers from sales money (Eze/Kelman or Varane) and better conditioning, so we can take matches to the opposition more. He's either a negative manager or he had to nurse an injury ravaged and inexperienced squad through the season.

I doubt it's lost on Marti that he didnt get any other championship offers, so he still has a lot to prove to be regarded as a good manager at this level.

Whoever is in charge can we just attack a bit more please!!!!

So Nourry is in a situation where the club has it's manager on gardening leave so we won't be free to focus on important recruitment and because we've just given Marti a lengthy contract, unless a club brings him in we can't afford to pay his compensation. Feels like a club very much being run by a university graduate with very little to no experience of running a football club. We're in a position financially where we will have to stick with the manager so this situation being dragged out is extremely naive on his behalf.

We don’t know what went on other than the wba talks. Overall Nourri done a great job where we have actually done some decent transfer business since he came in. Backed Cifuentes when others would have sacked him with a new contract. Seems to me he’s been badly let down by someone who knew what he was getting into. He would have taken that decision to the board so not surprising they’re all furious with cifuentes who will find it harder to find something else . Although hoping Bristol city bail us out!

Transfer window opens Monday 16th June. We can't afford the players that get signed early in the window and normally get our late when prices and demands reduce. Normally, it's quiet until the prem clubs do their business and the ripples start. The top players will start their 2-3 weeks off shortly when the WC qualifiers finish.

Nothing much will happen until the first week of July. No panic quite yet.

Agree with you on this one but Marti won't be coming back if rumours are we offered the ex Norwich guy the job and he said nope I can't see it ending with Marti back in the dugout, At times we looked decent and at times we looked inept and rudderless on loosing runs.

Whoever comes in needs to happen asap I don't see Calm or betsy staying either
