A striker would be nice but we really do need to find ways of getting the ball to them first. Tim or players like Tim are key to that. Personally I'd like to see him and another like him, or a winger come in.

With Dozzell rumoured to be on £13k a week and surely SDM must be on £4k a week as a fringe squad plsyer. Thats £17k a week freed up. If we can get Kelman out too we'll be over the £20k mark for at least one decent player. We need quality not quantity and hope their fitness holds up.

If Villa are willing to pay his wages with a view to a permanent deal and we either pay his wages in with a fee or we agree to a larger sell on % it may happen

I get that players have to be signed for others to leave but it's clear Tim is available. We need to grab the bull by the horns and sign the boy. I don't want a loan because at 2m I think it's a complete steal. We all know he's a class act would will just get better.

Unless we have an in on a non league 100k diamond in the rough or hot youth prospect we should not be buying anyone.

Jan is a bad window to do so, where are, we need high quality loans. Myabe they have an option to buy also.

Tim keeps getting mentioned, he'd be perfect. Ings mentoned a while back, perfect. Thay may cost afew quid but it's a temporary measure/gamble and that's what we need. Stay up, then allow Marti to build.

The Varane report is odd in that both Cadiz and Getafe are also mentioned, and both of those are La Liga sides and a step up from Gijon.
