  • Raising Kane.

Finally an all-star effort. Very exciting to see. Hope he builds on this for the remainder of the season.

Good to see - and i don't think he is as bad as some would have. having said that Watfords formation last night meant he had the right hand side of the pitch almost to himself!

He played well, but he was given acres of room time and time again, so he should've performed. A big issue with the team and the reason we aren't capitalising on good starts is the crossing. If you loop a ball in from 30 yards defenders can easily watch and manage the attack and clear lines, they only have to worry about offside. Our flanks need to show some guts and start running at teams and get balls in from awkward angles. Better to send in 1 dangerous ball than 10 average ones. Honestly the first 30 minutes looked like a defensive training with us on the attack, Charlie will knock 1 out of 2 in the back of the net and will hit the target 90% of the time, real talent, but if he's not getting a chance to find space and ghost defenders it's all for nothing.

Chair has real talent but it looks like he reckons he's the next Eden Hazard, too many touches, minimise them and focus on movement which he's very good at.

I hope with Stefan and maybe this new fella we can start to distribute to the wings better, and have a more direct apparoach for more options. Stefan looked really good afew times last night. Not sure how our left flank is solved, but the turning point last night was Willock coming on and trying to get the ball into different areas and running at players.

Really good performance and good game to watch last night, I just see us losing more games because we can't get the ball into dangerous positions often enough.

This post is totally on point, especially about our timidness in being more direct in the attack. Chair fools around too much instead of having a hankering to go at goal. Willock shows what can happen when u do; it puts defenses into a more precarious, helter skelter position.

Yes, he had a lot of space, but he also had this recently against Fulham and Derby when nearly all his crosses hit the nearest defender. that was much better from Kane and hopefully he builds on that with some good consistent performances.

Should’ve got MOM last night for all round display, very encouraging
