Wheeler - Done Deal - Official

QPR have had an offer accepted for Exeter City winger David Wheeler.

It comes after Rangers made their move for the 26-year-old, having monitored his progress last season.

Something of a risk, never played above league 2 where he has had one decent season and is 26. Hope it works out but can't believe there arnt better, younger players out there for the same sort of money.

Exeter supporters speak very highly of him as a player and a person. Used to playing on the right side of a forward three. Very, very good in the air used to play centre back for Brighton in his youth.Powerful with a good shot on him.
Downside suffers from asthma and a bit injury prone.
They are hoping for Goss on loan.

Give the fellow a chance and hopefully he will come good. At the end of the day this is where we are now in 5he market place so got to get behind him if he joins.

The type of signing we will have to get used to,like the 2 year deal for the northern Irish league player. We need to stop having long threads about who we are going go make way for a £3 million player the sun newspaper (or like it)"claims" we have bid for and accept it's non professional players or league 1 or 2 bargain basement players we will be getting for some time to come. I wish both players every success with us and hope they get a chance, unlike Sean Goss

Good luck to him if we manage to sign him.

What happened to that postman we we're looking at a few years ago, reminds me of that target?
