I expect this will be enough to see them up.this season. They need it as otherwise will be struggling financially. All these ubs really splashingbthe cash to be in the prem when the new TV deal starts.

Thought they wanted a lot more for him. Didn't they reject £12m in the summer?

£9million a bargain though for a player that guarantees goals.

Totally different mate as Chaz was a free agent in June. Rhodes has a contract until 2019.

Let's see how many he scores next season assuming they go up.

I will imagine Blackburns situation has changed , that or this offer is cash upfront as plenty of 12 millions have been mentioned from various clubs.

I like Rhodes so will watch this with interest. Been injured alot in recent times and still scores but not as prolific. If they go up he won't have impact Charlie did

Agree ref the impact in PL.

I do like Rhodes though, very good little player. Can't believe he is still only 25. I think he's bagged 20 league leagues in his past 6 seasons which is mightily impressive. As you say, had some injuries this season, but still managed 8 in 12 games.

Seems a decent lad as well, never kicked up a stink demanding a move to a bigger club. Just keeps his head down and does the business.

Nine million now, two million more if they go up this season, and two million more at the end of next season if they stay up.
So it's the thirteen if he does well for them.

I think he's quality. His goal scoring record at this level is mad
