Awful comparison there. Steve Gibson hasn't run up 200m of debt at boro, ad despite being a vile creature Flav took the club from the bottom of the Champ to the Premier League with no debt.

You need to get your TF rose specs off bud.

Yeah to be fair he's only run up 75 million of debt, whereas what debt are you on about regards us? It was money spent not money borrowed.

Haha! Playing a bit devils advocate I am.

Briatore was horrid, but the bloke is a winner and doe what he said.

TF is a lovely bloke and clearly wants the best for Qpr. But he has made awful soft decisions throughout his tenure.

I don't want Fernandes to go, but I want him to keep shtum and concentrate on the job in hand and actually LEARN from his mistakes, not just TALK about learning but then continuing to do the same thing.

..........I'd love a Mittal consortium to take over. Bhatia and Ishan Saksena to ru the club day-to-day and Lakshmi to ow the club..... Guess thats not gonna happen either tho.

No the Mittals will definitely not take the reigns of this club , neither will Amit , all i would say is the grass is not always as green on the other side as some think.

I don't want TF to sell up as you never know who has his eye on the real estate or what, and whatever mistakes Fernandes had made, and he's made loads he always seemed to have Qpr at heart. Who knows what the next guy wants?

Great news if as appears weve written off zillions. That can only be good for the club.

Here's some facts that might help you make a reasoned argument

                  1. When Fernandes took over, QPR were NOT debt free. The accounts three months prior to his purchase show £56million of debt

                  2. With today's £180million debt for Equity swap, QPR are STILL NOT DEBT FREE! They have other creditors e.g. Barclays lent £27million which is secured on the LR stadium

                  I hope this helps

Tony Fernandes and the board made very popular decisions at the time of Hughes and Redknapp being hired. They also backed their judgement on transfers. Just like most Chairmen do at most clubs. Not his fault that nearly everyone he has employed has under performed. These individuals need to take most of the blame not TF.

Fair point. My major issue is the manner in which views are expressed.

                          Preston North End, Wolves

Typically debt free clubs outside of the Premiership are those that have seen the owner pay off the debts

As for the Premier League, Swansea, Spurs, WBA & Palace all appear to be (virtually) debt-free

so the club are basically debt free ONLY of the owners "loans" which have been turned into nominal value shares, all other debt is still outstanding which includes a loan against the ground with Barclays , therefore we don't own that. Also we are losing money each week so the debt will start increasing as the owners will probably have to start lending again to pay creditors/players. If not Administration looms.
