not sure... wages are nowhere near as high in serie a as you might imagine. one of the problems shifting fattie taarabt to italy was that, to match what we were paying him, he would have been the 4th highest paid player in the whole of the italian league. according to the graphic below, which so far as i can work out, shows the annual salary (ingaggio) in millions of euro for every player in serie a, he was on €450k a year last season, so about £6k a week.

Interesting reading thanks for posting it up, Napoli and Roma appear surprise high payers to me, on whole wages much more sensible than here with our £35k p/w to Luke Young.

Felt compelled to reply is more to the point.

The fact is, you completely misinterpreted my various comments, added your own theories and then tried to slate me for your interpretation. It's laughable. The fact you then try to tell me I've missed the point just compounds it.
