Thats fair enough Stan. But for me as stange as it sounds its not necessarily about what happens on the pitch atm. As a club it would seem we have turned a massive corner (1 that we've been trying to turn for years): future thinking signings/no more mercenary's/not being this push over club we've been for so long etc etc..... At this moment in time we're laying foundations for the club and imho next season its not massively important how our performances are (as long as we not sitting bottom). I truly believe if we continue to do things the way we're doing things this could be the start of something special in the clubs history. (Being a well run football club, with tradional club morals finally being restored) Thats what Im praising the club for.Originally posted by Stanley View PostNo argument at all there Nick. All the signs and rhetoric are very encouraging both in the short and long-term for the club.
Just reserving a little judgment until we see where it truly counts i.e. on the pitch.

I agree with you mate and your OP.Originally posted by West London is Rss View PostListen, from where we were last season and what we witnessed the 2 seasons before with mercenaries, the board, club and staff deserve all the praise they can get from me for realising their mistakes and taking steps back to build and do things the proper way.
Realising where we are at the moment and realising he wasnt the man, was probably the hardest thing to accept for TF i am sure. Enough has been done and changed already for me to praise.
Despite you prefixing it, it was still jumped on though I notice by the usual suspects.

Well said Hove, think people are getting a bit excited about a "new QPR" I will reserve judgement, the way things are being done at QPR now is not out of choice. Hopefully it will work but I'm not confident, we have been poor side for a long time and this is a major task.Originally posted by Hove Ranger View Postyes but achieving something does not necessarily mean win something. If we achieve academy 2 status the yeas that deserves praise. We have rejected a couple of bids, signed a few players and beat a pub team 10-0 in preseason. IMO we havent really done much yet to say the club has completely turned around and we have our rangers back etc when in reality things could turn out a lot different by the end of the window. Its still very early daysC'Mon You Supaaaa!!

Fair enough then, tbf a matter subjectivity is involved in praise so you are more than entitled to do so. But in the same vein there will be others who feel is is somewhat undeserved yet. lets hope all is realised going forward and we are all lavishing praise on the clubOriginally posted by West London is Rss View PostListen, from where we were last season and what we witnessed the 2 seasons before with mercenaries, the board, club and staff deserve all the praise they can get from me for realising their mistakes and taking steps back to build and do things the proper way.

Still think Kirill will have something to moan about. Probably go to a match and have a slightly soggy pie at half time. We won't hear the end of it.Originally posted by Hove Ranger View PostFair enough then, tbf a matter subjectivity is involved in praise so you are more than entitled to do so. If I'm one of the usual suspects, then it's because I'm presently travelling in hope, not expectation. I am, however, looking forward to the season.Originally posted by CroydonCaptainJack View PostI agree with you mate and your OP.

I don't think any real fan won't be looking forward to the new season. Can't vouch for QprQpr though. What I like is the approach, if it doesn't work, at least we have shown a willingness to adapt to what is needed. The whole thing is trial and error. If it does work, great; otherwise, we adjust the system. But this is a step in the right direction and relative to what has been going on, this deserves its bit of credit IMO.Originally posted by Rangers77 View PostIf I'm one of the usual suspects, then it's because I'm presently travelling in hope, not expectation. I agree with that. Credit, most certainly. And hopefully praise to follow. Detente is alive and well.... :-)Originally posted by nasser95 View PostI don't think any real fan won't be looking forward to the new season. Can't vouch for QprQpr though. So we should get excited.. this is a new chapter and a new direction which looks promising. We havent done it this way before so why should we not get excited?Originally posted by upperloft View PostWell said Hove, think people are getting a bit excited about a "new QPR" I will reserve judgement, the way things are being done at QPR now is not out of choice. Of course doing things this way is out of choice.. Otherwise we would continue to buy 30 year old free agents for the championship, like last time.
What have Les and Chris done wrong to make you NOT confident?...
I honestly do not understand some fans points of view.. I try my hardest but i just do not understand some.

I will hold my judgement until I see what they achieve.
