So he just decided one day to throw a load of money at a random club in London just to make qpr fans feel better? Of course it was for financial gain and I have no problem with that, he is a business man. I just think the word love is used way too easily when in reality he is here to make a killing financially and hopefully we can benefit as a club and fans at the same time.

No argument at all there Nick. All the signs and rhetoric are very encouraging both in the short and long-term for the club.

Just reserving a little judgment until we see where it truly counts i.e. on the pitch.

Does it truly count on the pitch, this season though or for the next couple?.. We all realised we had to take a step back and build from scratch.
If you are expecting and wanting a top 6 six finish again this season or next then i would lower your standards because i'm not so sure that will be the aim for the next 2 seasons.

For me, as long as i can see the club doing the right things off the pitch and playing decent football, in the right way, on the pitch... thats all that matters.

I find it quite sad if you are someone that cannot find it within themselves to commend the club now, after all the sh1te we have been through.

What is wrong with now having re-knewed optimism in the club... Things are moving in the right direction again. It wouldnt hurt to give a little praise.

Not sure i agree with that West. I would say he loves making money and we are just the vessel for him to achieve that and again I have no problem with this.

No i agree about where you come from but if your first interaction with a business or football club is financial investment then surely your primary objective is to make as much profit as possible irrespective of the consequences. On the other hand if you were raised as a supporter of said club and then chose to invest then I would say that relationship is based on love. It obviously benefits the board to dress it up as if they love the club but deep down if it wasnt for their vast investments would they be attending loftus road most weeks or even at all? I also think you are confusing love for pouring money down the drain which arent quite the same thing

Valid point but I'm definitely not confusing them, I'm talking about his reaction to all things that happen to the club. You just have to look at his enthusiasm to truly see that he cares about us.

yes but achieving something does not necessarily mean win something. If we achieve academy 2 status the yeas that deserves praise. We have rejected a couple of bids, signed a few players and beat a pub team 10-0 in preseason. IMO we havent really done much yet to say the club has completely turned around and we have our rangers back etc when in reality things could turn out a lot different by the end of the window. Its still very early days

No, I don't think it will be boring at all. Even if we don't do well on the pitch, at least TF resigning completely soon should be an exciting enough prospect for anyone who has been monitoring his tenure without the rose-tinted spectacles.

Listen, from where we were last season and what we witnessed the 2 seasons before with mercenaries, the board, club and staff deserve all the praise they can get from me for realising their mistakes and taking steps back to build and do things the proper way.

Realising where we are at the moment and realising he wasnt the man, was probably the hardest thing to accept for TF i am sure. Enough has been done and changed already for me to praise.
