I really don't get the negativity to TF. He has been let down by top level managers who he has backed and is probably just cutting his losses at the moment and why wouldn't you ! Much prefer TF to some of the other chairman around and his only real issue is not being ruthless enough but that's essy to say when it's not your money !

I really like Tony too. He's pretty blameless and backed all of his managers except warnock to the hilt

Its so close down there and the worst prem in history. Stop telling yourself its done already please, cos it aint, few more wins and we stay up, and get rid of hr and the future willl look amazing starting next season. Peas.
Its nice to dream. I agree with you that we still have a good chance of staying up. Few more wins you said. Where and when they are coming?

How has it become more prevalent that we have an ageing squad. only players over 30 are Green, Murphy, rio, Clint, Dunney, Joey, SWP, Henry and Bobby. Hardly a huge mass, especially when we have 12 under 26's in the squad as well. This compared to our promotion winning squad with Kenny, Cerny, Clint, Hall, Chimbonda, Shittu, Derry, Rowlands, Helguson, Agyemang, Hulse and Tommy Smith. We have lost all but 1 of those players and have replaced them with better quality alternatives in general.
The club was in debt prior to tony albeit the debt has risen. He will rectify those eventually but they are primarily down to the football people (Kia, Hughes in particular) convincing the owners to make mistakes.

He actually even did back warnock, but you remember Anton, SWP and Joey at the time? There was no reason to back him when he brought in all those guys alone.

I'm starting to have enough now. In the bottom 3, debt up to our eyeballs, and the bloke trots out the new training ground / stadium (which are no nearer to being realised) garbage every time he takes some criticism. We don't need videos on Warren Farm, we need a team that can win away from Loftus Road.
I'm greedy, I want both! And I see no reason why my wish should not be granted. Well, other than Harry Redknapp that is!

I agree, blind enthusiasm drives me crazy. By the time Tony admits we're in the sh*t it will too late. If we go down with the new FFP laws I don't see us coming back either!

Yes, he has. Yet he's backed all of them for far too long. My issue with Fernandes is that he is trying to run us like a business - build an extravagant infrasturcture, speculate to accumulate, and (relative) success will follow. Unfortunately, football doesn't work like that. A new stadium is a luxury that we don't need (and I daresay can't afford) at this time. TF needs a little perspective here.

We have the oldest squad in the PL.

Can't believe all the negativity over OFF-field activities. The board is trying to improve the infrastructure of the club which is sorely needed. The stadium and academy are part of our future and we will reap the rewards long term.

You can't equate short-term on-field problems with long-term infrastructure development. TF has already said we will strengthen the team where we can. It's now down to the players and coaching staff to do their bit. Tony can't put on a track suit and coach the players or stick on a pair of boots on Saturdays can he?

As I've said elsewhere, if we'd done better in just a few more games we'd be higher up the table and this wouldn't be a discussion. Whenever we have a bad patch the doom and gloom merchants have a field day on here.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

It is a joke from some here isn't it? They complain about the lack of a future structure for youth and profit, and then complain when those structures are announced and enhanced. I for one am grateful for the opportunity to see the potential improvement in the infrastructure of the club.
