I do think we need to judge the team on the teams that are going to be in and around us.. its a long season.. if we win our home games and improve on the road then this performance and Spuds performance will be forgotten

Is a back 4 I'd like to see.

IMO Rio's in the same category as Hill and Dunne, 'NOT' in terms as what he brings to the team experience etc or even quality. But he is at an age where he's going to be left a bit heavy footed and not as sharp as others to respond to certain situations, which will cost us goals like it has done a few times now.

Yun, I think is still injured? So I think he'll play there when ready. Really can't get my head around Hill playing there, he's out of position and 100% shouldn't play there in that type of fixture. Also even though Traore looked good yesterday I still can't trust him in defence... I just can't!

I think/hope the future CB partnership is Caulker and Ned so I'd like to see that a lot more.
I would like to see that back 4 as well. PACE.

I would play Onuoha alongside Caulker and perhaps play Ferdinand in a holding midfield role or drop him altogether.

Ferdinand in a holding midfield role? Jesus Christ I hope we never see that. We've got one of the best DM in the league in Sandro, why would we throw a 36 year old into an already rather slow CM??

Onuoha has to start, or at least get a chance. No excuses.

As predicted, Rio is too old to be relied on. He'll have more shockers this year sadly.

And Caulker is a decent young prospect, but I think he's a bit like Samba in that his goals have made people think he's better than he really is. Gets headlines but isn't the best CB we could've got for 9M...

Well on current form I'd say Rio is 'droppable' as I reckon he needs a rest.

We'd don't have a specialist RB in the building because some genius decided to sell our only one to a rival club.

                      So I'd play a back 5 of:

                      Isla Caulker Onuoha Hill Yun

Another error from Ferdinand for the 2nd goal ( along with Isla )

Unfortunately my reservations about signing him are all coming true

Dont agree, still both undroppable as we dont have anyone better. Rio still does better than isla, but we aint dropping him cos he isnt of an age and won every single thing there is to win in the game. Do an is isla undroppable thread please, cos he mucked up badly for both goals.

                            Ferdinand is droppable for Onuoah

Isla I can agree with as we don't have a RB but then that's due to Redknapps awful squad building again

I hate to say it but Rio is definitely droppable now. More errors again today that ultimately have cost us more vital points.

Onuoha doesn't deserve to have been dropped IMO.

Anton ought be dropped from the top of a very high building.
