He is obviously someone who divides opinion. For me he hasn't proven himself at the top level in three years and doesn't want to be here. Even his agent admits nobody in England wants him. Regardless of what the pro and anti Adels think that says it all. He isn't wanted at QPR, we would sell him for a bag of nuts and still nobody wants him.

He has had some positives but is one of the worst taker of set pieces I have seen, his shooting is dire and he lacks pace. Why unbalance the side to accommodate him? We all enjoy the odd bit of magic but when so seldom seen the team needs to come first.
Well do your mates criticise you for not being good enough for Barca? I'd hope not.

We really don't have to unbalance the side to accommodate him. Look at that spell under Hughes when he played left-wing - perfectly good tracking back and teamwork etc. The idea that he can only ever play as a no10 with a completely free role is a myth.

Sure, Adel has his flaws but they're no more unbalancing for the team than, say, Hill and Dunne's awful pace and distribution, Henry's terrible passing, Barton's hollywoods or Austin's lack of pace.

I've no doubt a player of his talent doesn't want to play for the ungrateful mob at loftus road. I wouldn't either. Maybe his high wages will keep him here, who knows.

I don't expect Adel to start on saturday - as ever, I'm just trying to stop history being rewritten.
      'Ungrateful mob at Loftus Road'..

How about the ungrateful Taarabt?????.... how about being grateful to QPR for giving him chance after chance and for paying his wages... how about he pays back the club buy getting his head down and really try to get in the team?

I think the best thing for us and him is for him to leave.. No matter what price, I think we should sell to the 1st buyer. We have moved on and so has Adel.

We will accept a lower offer from AC Milan and sell him.

We look ok just no creativity but if Redknapp is thinking of starting SWP each week then it will be a very long season

Yeah, think the creativity could be solved with, Isla, Traore, Hoilett, Phillips and Remy but we will see.. I think we will add De Guzman this week as well so all will be OK

Yes I do not understand why SWP is still involved. What a waste of space

For me that is perhaps the most disappointing thing. For a short spell under Hughes he showed glimpses of maturing into a better team player. However he never kicked on from that. Disappointing for us but we support the team and move on. Worse for him though as he won't get his time back again and my fear for him is that in 10 years he can look back at one great season in the Championship and not much else.

I don't blame any of the managers he has played under at either club or international level. Adel is responsible for Adel's attitude. A manager can do so much but no more. Eventually it comes down to the player to take responsibility for themselves.

No I didn't see it either. But I've also seen the mix reviews. It's reassuring to hear the positive comments about our defence as IMO that's the most important position in the team. I honestly think we'll be fine this season, with a couple of additions this week and I think our squad actually looks quite strong... the problem is people look to much into pre seasons. Hull will be the test.

Hoilett also played for us that season: 15 starts, 11 subs, one goal, one assist. He also could have got ten or fifteen goals. Why not slate Austin for not getting 20 goals last year?

Adel did shoulder responsibility. Whole months went by where he was the only person making things happen for us. And the fact you even think he had that responsibility - unlike Hoilett, say, or SWP - shows he's clearly not as bad in the PL as many make out.
He was the main man Geng you even said that yourself however he performed way below what was expected of him (perhaps we expected too much and it is us the fans that are in the wrong??) but you have totally missed the point so best we agree to disagree on if he shouldered responsibility and have you seen me defending Hoillet or SWPs input during the relegation season???? should they have provided more? YES they should have the whole shower of a squad should have

And for the record I thought Austin did get 20 goals last season

Think in the Prem the key is having a solid defence.. Look at Stoke etc.
We already had the making of that from last season.. Think HR has done a great job in building a team from the back

I really hope this sorts itself out one way or the other soon.

Mainly because these threads are depressing as hell.

When you consider the amount of absolute nothing dross or worse that has passed through our club in the last 15-20 years and left no lasting impression in the memory at all, but a player that actually got the pulses racing and entertained (even if only in some minds for one season only) seems to be absolutely despised by some of our fans because of his attitude, it's a real shame.

Perhaps when he's moved on he'll be remembered more fondly?
