And quite right true. The main criticism of Adel is that he is not EVEN MORE of a match winner - an acknowledgement that he is still head and shoulders the best match winner we have had in recent years. All our other players are praised for their goals - Adel is only blamed for his misses. Hey ho, I will remain grateful that he has provided some of the best moments watching the Rs in the last couple of decades and hope he does well in Milan. The very fact that people are talking about the TWO players we need to replace him tells its own story.

Its up to people to word things how they like.... the fact is most people's opinions on Adel are of the past, when he had ONE good season THREE years ago but are happy to push his constant bad attitude and now lack of professionalism (not wanting to stay fit and fight for his spot in the team) aside......

My argument is not with criticisms of his attitude, because although we can't know his attitude towards us for sure, it seems fairly likely he sees himself as being capable or deserving of playing for someone bigger.

I'm irritated more by the portrayal of his performances in the Prem as being without merit, when he was our most creative and productive player, and the subsequent idea that he wouldn't add something positive on the pitch, despite the attitude issues.

It seems we are being asked to forget his past positives, but remember his past negatives.

A C Milan have apparently offered £3m for AT. Is this enough given he's in the last year of his contract?

Don't we owe Spurs 25% of that?

I thought spurs were owed more like 40 - 50% sell on fee

My issues with Adel has nothing what so ever to do with his 'performances' in the premiership. It's mainly down to his attitude, something most seem happy to forget about. A bit like the theory that you point out.... "it seems we are asked to forget his past positives, but remember his past negatives"...... His 'past' positives are well and truly in the 'past' as for his past negatives are well and truly still happening!!!... you seen the video of him in the pool in pre season?? You can't miss him his the tubby one!... really 'professional'!!!..

..... he new full well out of every single player at pre season he was going to be the one who had the most to prove. This was his chance to really show everyone what he can do, wipe the slate clean and get into shape and fight for his place in that team..... Instead he comes in with bigger t1ts than Pamela Anderson..............no thank you!! Only himself to blame!!!!

Why don't his past positives still apply? It certainly didn't look like he'd forgotten how to play football while at AC Milan a few months back.

And your issues clearly do have something to do with his performances in the PL. You put scare quotes around the word to imply he didn't perform well; you claim he only ever had one good season for us. If you thought - as Deepcut, Stainrod and others do - that he actually played pretty well in the PL and contributed a lot in a very poor side, then your views on his attitude would change.

It's a lot easier to tolerate a bad attitude if the player is contributing on the pitch.

                      Lallana 9 goals 6 assists = 0.4 per game

                      Adel 5 goals 4 assists = 0.36 per game

Adel's true rate will be slightly lower per minute as he made a bunch of sub appearances too. But still, it's pretty close especially considering Lallana played for an excellent, attacking side, with the likes of Lambert and Rodriguez to work with, whereas Adel was in an awful relegation team with wasters like SWP blasting all his chances into row Z.
Yeah and Lallana is worth £20m+

These Adel threads are getting ridiculous and some of you keep bringing up the same old cobblers. Give it a rest!

I remember some of you screamed for Adel to be given the no.10 shirt and came in your trousers when he wore it. Hardly the mark of grown men.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I've seen the best "number ten" this club has ever had, Mr Bowles, and Adel is not fit to shine his boots. If that makes you tearful, tough. The bloke has disrespected QPR for long enough and should be sold. I don't care how good some of you think he is, but his behaviour towards our club is a disgrace.

And hopefully when he's sold, we'll see the end of the same old threads about him.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

if AC Milan have put in an offer I'd accept. The man will be even less focussed at the thought we are holding him back on a dream move
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Adel? This brings back some memories. Didn't he have a good season for us a few years ago in a lower division? Afraid I don't follow football much outside of England. I seem to remember him thinking he was on verge of signing for Barcelona or Real Madrid and was going to be a global superstar. Did that happen in the end? Hope it did. He was great in the Championship. Happy days. Shame he disappeared but couldn't really expect a global talent like that to hang around little QPR, way beneath him.
