Almost makes ya cringe don't it fish. It's like after 2 seasons in the PL some of us seem to think we have a god given right to be signing top top proven players
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

As Warnock said in his book, everyone thinks they can manage their club better or run the country better than those in the said positions.

don't get me wrong - i'm not one to claim he's terrible/useless etc but i certainly question what he'll add if he's been a pro striker for 5 years and scored 8 goals. If we were signing him to compliment/add something rather than goals then potentially it's good. but if we are signing him to be an actual striker then i think we're allowed to be skeptical. i know we're not PL, and we're not gonig to be attracting Messi, Bale, Ibra, however we don't have to claim every signing is going to be a good move. i'm not sure about him, we'll have to wait and see - see if he even joins first.

Sorry mate but I think your missing something here - He comes from Inter Milan, his 22.. He hardly would of been playing for longer than 5 years with 200 goals in the bank would he?

Were QPR, his coming from INTER MILAN. Were attracting a young player from INTER when were in the Champ.. What are you moaning about?!

If it happens, then its the type of signing I want to see personally! Young, hungry, will want to do well..

Unless you'd rather that pole from Stoke, whose 32?

8 goals in 5 years is more than shocking for a striker!

But from what I can gather most of that time he's been a substitute. What would be interesting to know is in that time how many minutes has he actually been on the field for, anyone?? Plus there's got to be something about him for premiership clubs to be interested.
              SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

........ And as I have said before, signed by Inter Milan for 7.5 million euros (& plays for his country)

That's nothing - we attracted Champions League WINNERS. Not just one of them, but three of the sh1tters. All in the same team.

                      That worked out well.

Seriously though - this guy is completely untested and unproven - I watch a hell of a lot of Serie A and this guy barely registers on Inter's bench. He may be good, he may not be but we'll give him a chance. Fail to see the difference though between him and Chevanton, except Chevanton had the experience and the goalscoring record.

And the beanpole from Stoke (who has England caps, Champions League pedigree and knows the Championship inside and out) would be far more likely to deliver promotion rather than a untried kid out of a Serie A reserve team

Simple truth is no one on here has a clue whether he will be any good, either way. Sammi de Carmenie came with a certain amount of hype from Florentina from memory, Macheda similarly came from Man U and neither set the world alight. But equally we can't keep signing 32-year-olds for five million. Can't say I'm wildly excited and I am nervous that we are gambling a lot on him working out but ultimately you have to trust the management team or you might as well sack them - and we don't want to go back down that path.
