Connor Wickham went for more than that with the add ons as an unproven 17 year old.

For a British proven young striker,who Blackburn paid 8m for and ain't gonna sell at a loss,10m is about right IMO in todays market.As you know there is always a premium when British players are sold.

Blackburn are skint and it's not our fault they paid over the odds for Rhodes. We shouldn't be held to ransom by these clubs who smell Tony's dollars a mile off, for example Watford wanting Diakite but wanting us to pay his wages while he's there. WTF? We need to stop being a soft touch.

Donnie was decent level but Scunthorpe in the main was lower league. What about Sheffield utd x2, Reading, Southampton Forest next to no goals or at least not enough to live up to the hype he would have solved our problem
