Regardless of his age...he can still put the ball in the net. And that extra bit of desire being a QPR fan, has to count too doesnt it? No doubt there are better targets out there, but to write him off is a bit silly imo, he can do a job in the prem, so he can do a job in the championship.

Crouch has been scoring in the prem this year with stoke and starting the last few games but he ain't good enough for us...it's a joke. As long as we were sensible and don't hand him a 3 year retirement package crouch would be a welcome addition. Would do a job for us tr next few months and if we had him In the prem as our 3rd 4th striker I'd be happy. He offers something different and defenders have always found him awkward.
18 month deal and another nippy striker I'd be really happy!

Crouch would be a handy player and great addition to the squad, anyone who says any different isnt thinking straight. The bloke still scores in the prem, which we all know isnt easy these days, he will score in the championship, something booby or aj, or hoilett do not. Course we would all rather have rhodes, but if we get crouch now and rhodes in the summer when we are deffo up and rebuilding, then its all gravy.

Thing is everyone knows how hard it is to do business this month with teams reluctant to sell and inflated prices. We all would love rhides or ntep ect but how realistic are they atm. Main Thing is to get someone in who can help us over the line and crouch fits into that category whether he's 30 odd or not.
Come the summer if we.go up I honestly believe tv and Harry will invest in a young hungry squad.

Do you know every player harry buys has either Portsmouth of Spurs connections lol.

We can't buy a player that isn't related.

Would MUCH prefer PC to some foreign bloke who would probably takes ages to adapt to this league,a loan deal till end of season would be a great move by us

Totally agree. Would be a good move for us both.

Good point about taking ages to adapt to our style of football.

When it comes down to it we've only got half a season to get promotion. Don't get me wrong we could get another Remy in who took to English football straight away but IMO at this stage I'd rather Crouch over a foreign player, just to get us over the line.
                            SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

and Dunne - even the players Harry brought last year didn't have a connection with spurs or pompey. People just jump on the bandwagon rather than looking at facts.

Why are there a lot of ageist's on this site.
                                Age is just a number.
