Rhodes for 6 mill. Think there would be a few more premier clubs interested if that was true.

If a PL club wanted to sign him he would have moved in the summer. Instead it was the likes of Austin and Hooper who were the ones who were of interest.

Insider! You should of said the fee was around 12mil then some people might of believed you. I've been banging on about Rhodes for ages on here, would be my no.1 target but he will cost a fortune. The Blackburn manager said his valuation of Rhodes is sky high.

£12 million for a player who has not set foot in the Premier League, give over. Blackburn paid around £3 million too much for him, they banked on him firing the goals to send them up in their first season down. His transfer was financed by a parachute payment, it was and still remains a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a player in the second tier of football in any country in the world.

We as a club missed out on what I think will turn out to be a very decent player by not even making a bid. We will end up signing some has been on mercenary wages and a massive fee.

So we haven't missed out then its what you think , massive difference
