    Redknapp - why can't you keep it shut

    First mvilla, then bridge and now hooper which will be costly. No wonder Levy got rid of him. I'm sure somehow he will blame beard or Fernandez but why oh why is he so unprofessional. I'm sure redknapp will threaten to leave etc etc

    Lets just hope we did have a plan b and its done quickly

              Even if redknapp said nothing it doesn't matter. These players have agents who do all this type of work for him.

                          Where has Harry been quoted that the "deal is done" ?

                          As far as I can see, the only soundbite he gave is that it is close to being done and that if he came to QPR he could see Hooper scoring 25 goals in the Championship.

                              Not really my point - all it does is increase our expectations as fans - it's his way of deflecting blame from him - no other manager does it

                                  Ah yeah fair enough. I got excited. For what it's worth I still think hooper is on his way to being a ranger. But, Redknapp never said it was a done deal. The media spun his words to make it seem that way.

                                      Why is he saying anything? he said on scottish tv that the deal was almost done and didn't expect any glitches - 25!goals etc etc

                                                      Redknapp only said that a fee had been agreed. He did not say that terms had been agreed. What was he supposed to do. Lie about it.
