With regard your last line, yes he did, but I, personally, think that was all part of his act of innocence. The bloke's half savvy and knows how to make a few quid, but I don't think common sense is his strong point.

Now, yes, I'm not saying that solely because of Arry's comments we lost out on Hooper, because a deal isn't started and finished in an hour, Norwich must have been in the hunt with the ball rolling for a while, but Arry's stupid bl00dy comments about it nearly being done and a PL come unlikely to come and hijack it were unnecessary and make us look a total laughing stock, once again. He just can't keep his trap shut can he, always looking to give the media what they want.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

'Arry doesn't know when to shut up. Whilst he is good at man management in terms of dealing with players he isn't very intelligent. There are ways of answering media questions. As others have said look at likes of Wenger and Ferguson.

No we didn't lose Hooper because of it but it certainly didn't help and hasn't helped in other cases. Wish he would learn, stop courting the media the whole time and concentrate on trying to get the deals done.

I think 'Arry is potentially a good manager at this level but is also high maintenance.

Harry is top of my list of staff I'd like to see leave QPR. Yes he's ahead of Boswinga for me.

And this is the single most relevant factor, no matter what the subject.

Not once have I seen any evidence of it since he's been here.

I've always said during his Spours time, it's a myth how great he is, otherwise he wouldn't need an army of coaches to do all the training with said players.

To be fair though Del, he did manage to prise Karl Henry away from Wolves.

Yeah tbf though I don't think there was too much competition.

I did hear one of his dogs was ready to spend 400k of his own money to compete with his master.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

have to confess was maybe being charitable on that. Was never impressed with him at Spurs and all the hype. Spent loads of money signing a lot of players, a number of whom bombed. Didn't do anything more than he should have done there. Also whilst Hughes gave us a terrible start last season HR hardly sparked a great turnaround and his record every bit as appalling as his predecessor. He has a lot to prove to us. All that said I think at this level could do well for us hence my last comment but onus definitely on him to prove to club and fans he can do it as with some of our players.

For me a clean slate for him and some of our 'stars'. Could be a good season for us notwithstanding our fruitless striker search thus far so whilst bit hacked off in some respects am looking forward to it.

Harry Redknapp: "It looks like it's on its way to being done. Negotiations have gone well.

"He's a finisher. He'll score goals in the Championship; I'm absolutely certain of that.

"He's gone to Celtic; one of the biggest clubs in the world and he's scored goals. He's scored goals in the Champions League.

"He's in the last year of his contract, so it's a good deal for everybody. It's good for Celtic to get the kind of money they are getting and hopefully it will be a great deal for QPR.

"If he can come here and get 25 goals next season, then we will have a real chance of getting out of the division."

What can you say other than a total idiot yet again, M'Vila in January now Hooper and before we say he was never going to sign old Arry Boy seemed certain they both would. The man is looking for a way out and very very soon..

Trouble is mate, he has been a total disaster since he walked through the door.

And it's now looking likely that when he reportedly told Zamora he would be his main striker this season, he may have actually been serious.

Appreciate there is still time, but it aint looking good.
