  • A lot of rangers feel priced out of getting season tickets or paying 40-50 a game. With a bigger ground prices will drop in order to get a full stadium.
Everyone's a winner. Bundling through ER crowds to have a slash at HT will be a distant memory.

Yes, for the next generation maybe it'll be a great move with kids starting to support us eh, but for a while we will be in a stadium too big for us IMO.
Matty, surely this is a bit like a McDonald's situation, you always buy larger than your belly will take but you always eat that little bit extra until you get there. Well we will build 35000 knowing we really only should take 25000 but with a little bit of effort we will promote and get those extra few 1000 until we are full !!!!!

They could do that with or without QPR surely?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

          • Tony is building for the long term, not two or three years ahead but twenty to thirty and more. So much negative thinking on here. ANY stadium in the world can be filled every game if it's priced right. It doesn't matter if we had a new stadium in three years time and still in the championship and all tickets were priced at £10 each. Given that we know there's money to invest in Tony's brand, we can price the football to fill it at whatever level we're at.

Cheap for where we are now, and more when we get back to the prem. Stop thinking in the past and start thinking positive about how we take our club forward.

            • THis new stadium will be made for all events not just football, why do you think they got in Phil Beard. If they can make it half as popular as the o2 they would be getting all sorts of revenue in. I amsure that the publicity and free marketing Air Asia are getting via the EPL offsets some of the out lay for TF and co.

I found that having have a slash in your pants just before HT in ER takes way the need to que while also giving you a head start for a beer at HT. Feel sorry the ladies in ER going for a slash, when back for the 2nd half last home game the que was long than the one for the beer.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

I`m not ruling that out at all , and we could be just what they need to get a foot in the door .

There is a bit too much naivety going on here, people should remember these are foreign businessmen who have no history with or love for QPR .

God what an attitude that is! The vast majority of football clubs in the top flight have foreign businessmen involved with them, I dont get your logic. Of course they are in it for the money but so what? Would you rather a fan owned club?

Look whats happened to Coventry , they have sold off their ground and are now left with nothing , i`m just concerned about the same thing happening to us . Tony is a businessman not Father Christmas

Man Utd just won the prem title, owned by foreign businessmen who have no history with or love for Man Utd. Chelski is owned by a Russian and just won the Europa league after last season winning the champs league. Man City won the prem last season and owned by a family from Abu Dhabi. I don't understand your argument.

You dislike Fernandes which is your prerogative. Who do you suggest runs QPR then? A fan with a few quid? We've been down that road before with Chris Wright.

I'd like to see your evidence as to why you think the board is using us to build an entertainment complex, and who you think should replace the current board.

Certainly not for his football expertise so I make you right.

All those top clubs already have their assets in place so their is no risk.

I dont think vesp dislikes TF at all, the complete opposite in fact. He is just clearly worried we will sell off whatever assets are in the clubs name and end up with others that dont belong to us.
