We have to play a lot better than Saturday, too many stray passes and too much giving the ball away cheaply.

Given that a win would probably put us in the top 6 I'm fully expecting us to choke (again!).

Be interesting to see how we replace Chair if he's injured... I'd love to push Madsen forward as a "10" and stick Field or Morgan in to partner Varane. I think Madsen's been a revelation this season and I reckon could do well further up the field.

I think Madsen is best suited to the role he is in now - it’s a sort of Quarterback taking the ball from the back four and initiating the attack- if he is thriving in the position and it is generally agreed that he is playing well there I wouldn’t change it.

I do hope we get a win from this game because I'm quietly dreading our fixtures over the Christmas period as I suspect we'll do a Santa act for the opposition.

Trouble is, Dembele is a really average player - there's no way he can be a 10, he's got no football intelligence. It's needs as must, we lack a creative forward minded central midfielder to replace Chair, shunting Madsen 5-10yds forward with a slightly different remit works for me, he can be a quarter-back from a higher starting position.

That's would mean dropping one of our forwards, playing one central mid, or playing without a wide man.

Although Chair wears the 10 he doesn’t play that role in the current set up - very much Left wing - so Dembele or poku could fill in - if Madsen moved forward we wouldn’t be able to play the system we are playing now with 2 up front.
