Great result. Looking on the cautious side, we still have great difficulty in stopping almost all crosses coming over. Nearly cost us 2 points tonight. Need to work at that.

Fact remains we only have one specialist FB at the club. A combination of Mbengue AND the hardworking Smyth kept Gray quiet but once they'd gone, we had the not-hardworking Dembele and young midfielder Morgan as a make-do-and-mend RB so Gray came back into the game. We rescued things at the death of course, ironically through Morgan's sweet right foot.

if we can find some bona-fide proper fullbacks in January I think we could become a very formidable outfit. Hopefully, our lofty position in the table will encourage the owners to dig down behind the couch and find a few pennies to finance some moves, even if just loans.

Cannot watch too many games like that , not good for the heart. Birmingham were poor and we dominated that game , we need to learn how to be ruthless and finish teams off . I went mental when they scored , could see it happening but i went even more mental when Morgan got the winner , surprised the neighbours did'nt knock to see what was going on. I like Kone but he could easily have headed that chance in , he went for glory with the volley . A lot happier now than after the Norwich game , come on you Rs

Just back from the game .....a great night , no one cared we had to wait 20 mins for a tube . Poor game at times but we came through.
