After Stoke we have what should be two winnable games with Wednesday and Oxford. Getting 6 points is exactly what is needed to build up a gap from the bottom because we all know a bad run is in us so getting as many points as we can quickly will just take the heat of us for a bit
Great win and loved the way the team celebrated at the end, particularly Kone. Looks like a close knit group of players now. Wrexham were poor enough but we beat them well and a lot of their fans admitted as much after, saying we destroyed them in the middle of the pitch. We’ve got a decent squad now, moreso than any time over the last couple of years
So for the last 2 games we have hardly played out from the back, and guess what ,we score 3 goals in 2 successive games.1st half excellent all over, second we sat back to deep.Good to have a decent striker or 2 now,Kone what a strike and Burrell what pace..Well done to the manager and coaches for changing the way we play,2/3 years of shite football. Was not rocket science though,we all knew it

It was a sort of hybrid model we used yesterday.
When we did play out from the back, it was only when it made sense and not just for the hell of it.
Nardi in goal gave the defense a sense of confidence, that we haven't seen consistently for a while.
Burrells pace up top and ability to run on to long balls caused a lot of issues to Wrexham.
Kones composure and knowing where the goal is, is so refreshing.
I know it's still early days, and there were times we left their players unmarked in our box, and on another day, with better finishing, it could have been a lot closer.
Agree about the togetherness of the team, the celebrations at FT gave me goosebumps

Wasn't able to watch the game yesterday and just seen that WLS have rated Nardi, RND, Morrison, Varane and Madsen with a 6/10. This suggests to me that the defensive side of things is still very suspect - or, are those ratings a little harsh? I'd expect a couple of 6s in most games but not half the team in a 3-1 win. For those that did see/go to the game, are those ratings in the ball park?
